Sia,—Janus in your enrrent issue implies—his words can have no other ' meaning—that it would in his opinion have been better to make war on Albania than to obtain the award of damages, not a penny of which has been or is likely ever to be paid. Do you agree ?—Yours, &c., [Janus writes: I cannot imagine how this construction could 'be put on my words. I was simply pointing out how little Mr. Attlee's claim that " we got a judgement in our favour" meant when we got not a penny of the damages that should have gone with the judgement.]
