hard fact for the Tariff Reformers who are proclaiming the ruin of the tinplate trade. Last week some shares in a tinplate works at Llanelly were offered for sale by public auction. The price realised was 2182 10s. (one hundred and eighty-two pounds ten shillings) for each 250 (fifty pounds) share fully paid up.—I am, Sir, &c.,
