Lait Sunday Sir Austen Chamberlain and his family arrived at

Liverpool after their holiday abroad. He himself had not had a holiday for four years, and -when one looks back upon the terribly exacting labours of a modern Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs one sees that his breakdown was almost inevitable. We trust that how that League work is a' regular addition to the duties of a Foreign Secretary every possible delegation of Work will he arranged. 'The' conduct of our foreign affairs was unfortrinate during 'Sir Austen's " absence, and in congratulating him on his restored health we can hope nothing better for him than success in righting what went Wrong. '
