Sir: One does not have to be a brilliant mathematician
re the Common Market vote. If one can read What the papers say (and what the papers do not say) what with the huge cost to go in, and the trade deficit of nearly £700 millions in the latter half of 1974 — also when a 'breakthrough' is announced by jubilant Ministers, the price of food, etc, through the EEC jumps up by five to ten per cent to the British people — then there should be no difficulty in deciding!
I would like to say in closing that there has been no mention of the insuperable language barrier by the European integrators.
