Sir: The controversy in the Church of Eng- land, as
you have reported in many articles, is about the ordination of women as priests.
The Queen is the head of the Church of England, yet she has remained silent in this controversy. If the Queen says there will be women priests, the traditionalists will have to accept women priests. If the Queen says no, then this controversy will be ended. As the supreme leader of her church, she should make a decision. The Queen's silence is a dereliction of duty.
If I am mistaken, please explain.
