The Sex War
SIR,—lt was never my intention to get involved in a sex war, neither do I subscribe to the trite phrase quoted by Claire Rayner—If-women-ran-the-world- it-would-be-a-better-place.' I agree with her it is silly and impossible. I would like to inform David A. Wilson and all mankind that men and women are, first and fore- most, people and as such should co-operate and help to abolish wars on all fronts including the sacred territory of sex.
Evolution, and presumably that is our aim, is not through segregated groups, male or female, black or white, East or West, but through united effort. We should be striving for equality of purpose and I reiterate women have a potential power which tends to be ignored, untapped and could help.
To Michael F. Cullis, of Paris, I would say are not all wars, initially, Waterloos or otherwise, 'man- imposed atrocities'?
