Angling. By J. T. Burgess. (F. Warne and Co.)—A practical

and handy guide for those who have not Mr. Francis's far more complete work on the subject. Mr. Burgess does not go so deeply into all the questions connected with fishing as Mr. Francis does, and his experience is more limited than that of so great an authority. But beginners will find him useful and intelligible, and may perhaps profit all the more that his directions will seem rather superfluous to practised fishermen.
