Pop the question

Sir: Thelma Stuart wants to know (Letters, 13 July) why most bras are back-fastening. The answer, perversely, is that men design them. Although difficult it's not impossible to undo a back-fastening bra with one hand, and through an outer garment, and no one who has acquired such a skill wants to see it rendered obsolete by some fancy, woman-demanded 'improvement'.
