The only subject that has produced any real out burst

of indignation on the Opposition benches this week is, oddly enough, margarine. The Labour hack-benches take violent exception to the fact that margarine is supplied to the Air Force. On Wednesday afternoon there was quite- a Parliamentary " scene " when Sir Philip Sassoon pointed out that margarine was in fact supplied to the Air Force when Labour was in office.
