SIR,—Perhups the gravest problem before the nation today is that
of racial relations in our colonial territories. If this problem is to be treated as a mere cat's-paw of party politics, it may well prove insoluble. It is a problem which, if it is to be solved, must be taken right out of party politics.—Yours faithfully,
