Please help

From Mr Bernard Jones Sir: I am a poorly funded, retired man who wonders if Spectator readers could suggest an agreeable foreign country to relocate to, where I could build myself a small house, preferably close to sea, beach and moun- tains. The climate should be near-ideal, and the inhabitants honest and benevolent.
