On the 9th, at Wiesbaden, Lieutenant-General Francis Newbery, Colonel of the Third Dragoon Guards ; in his 70th year. On the 12th, in St. George's Place, Hyde Park Corner, Lieutenant-Colonel George Hibbert, C.B., commanding her Majesty's Fortieth Regiment ; in his 57th year. On the 13th, at Weare Gifford, Hester, Dowager Countess of Fortescue ; in her 87th year. On the 18th, the Rev. Thomas Frognall Dibdin, D.D., twenty-four years Rector of St. Mary's district church, Bryanstone Square, Vicar of Rifling, Suffolk, and Chaplain in Ordinary to her Majesty; in his 72d year.
