The Silver Link (S.S.U.) is an "Illustrated Monthly Magazine for

Home and School." There is a school-story, which certainly does not want for excitement (do head-masters address their boys as " Gentlemen" ?), and another serial tale, " A Mystery of the Sea," by Eliza F. Pollard. And there is the usual variety of miscellaneous matter. We cannot help saying that the fight as pictured—not as described in the text—is a queer affair. Bert has got one of his hands somewhere near his antagonist's left knee.
