WE said enough on the representation of this play at Covent Garden Theatre, to render it unnecessary for us to do more than record its publication; the more especially as we perceive that it was played very closely to the copy. It is altogether conceived in a poetical spirit ; and there are some pretty passages in it, which we should perhaps have relished more, if we had not found them fingered and besmeared by the dirty hands of puffery.
