The conference at Vienna, on Thursday, lasted three hours, and
led to no result. It is stated by the Morning Post that the next conference will be held on Monday ; when Prince Gortschakoff will give his final answer on the third point—the limitation of the Russian fleet in the Black Sea. " The instructions of Prince Gortschakoff, from St. Petersburg, as far as he communicated them to the Conference, allowed of no limitation of the Russian fleet in the Black Sea, and of no condition concerning Sebastopol. The departure of Lord John Russell from Vienna is conse- quently postponed, and most probably will not take place till the 26th or 28th instant."
A telegraphic message in the second edition of the Times this afternoon states that Austria has acceded to the specific form given to the third point by the Western Powers. According to the Daily Hews, Lord John Russell left Vienna yesterday for London ; but according to the Times report, dated this morning, Lord John would not leave until Monday. M. Drouyn de Lhuys had not departed yesterday.
Admiral Hamelin has been appointed Minister of Marine, in the room of the late M. Ducos.
A telegraphic message from Kiel, dated Thursday, states that the Bri- tish fleet, under Admiral Dundas, twelve liners, with the Vulture, Bull- dog, and Firefly, had just arrived there and anchored.
