The Government and the Zionists The Prime Minister has written

to Dr. Weizmann an authoritative interpretation of the Government's policy as announced in the recent White Paper. This interpre- tation is to be sent to the Mandates Commission as an official document. Dr. Weizmann has approved of it. We are thus confirmed in our opinion that the objections to the White Paper were caused by its language, not by its policy, which was merely misunderstood.
