The Washington correspondent of the Times says in Friday's paper

that an agreement on reciprocity with Canada was reached on Wednesday between the American and Canadian officials. Certain details appear to have been referred to Ottawa, and the United States Cabinet was to consider the document on Friday. The correspondent thinks that nothing like a comprehensive fiscal arrangement has been recom- mended, but little is likely to be known of its character before the scheme is submitted to the Legislatures.
