A Book on Architecture (Black, Is. 6d.) is a short,

popular exposition accompanied by excellent illustrations on which we may congratulate the author, Mr. G. H. Reed. He traces the history of architecture from the building of the Parthenon to -modern times, and does it very well in the tiny space he allows himself.
