(Cambridge University Press. 7s. 6d. net.)— Mr. Hoare has conferred a further boon on English students of Italian, who are now rapidly increasing in number, by com- pleting his compact and scholarly dictionary, the first part of which appeared some time ago. It is comprehensive and well printed ; the selection of idiomatic phrases is particularly commendable.
