Feuds follow war
From Mr David Buttetfield Sir: I congratulate Matthew Parris (Another voice, 14 June) for once again defending the rationale of those who opposed war on Iraq with the utmost passion and logic. As the nation's conscience is still confused after the ceaseless spin that the Labour government spewed forth, it is important that the grave consequences of our actions are remembered.
Rather than removing a great threat, the invasion of Iraq has instead rekindled inter-Muslim feuds in that country.
