Mr. Henry Matthews is probably returned for Dungarvan, hav- ing

defeated Mr. Serjeant Barry, and will enjoy the inestimable privilege of representing Fenianism on the Conservative side of the House. Mr. Matthews is a man of abilities so eminent that he might once have aspired to almost any position. Now we trust that lie is politically extinct.
