Niece Diana. By Marion Ward. (Lsbister and Co. 2s. 61)—This
is a slight—we may say a very slight—story, but told with taste. If the bachelor uncle and spinster aunt, the wilful niece and the audacious lover, are somewhat conventional figures, yet all the little play, if it is a play of marionettes, is skilfully contrived and well performed ; and no one will be one atom the worse for looking on.
