Dr. Alexander Maclaren continues his "Expositions of Holy Scripture" (Hodder

and Stoughton, 7s. 6d. per vol.) The two volumes before us are Ezekiel—Malachi and S. Luke i.-xii. It will be remembered that Dr. Maclaren's method is homiletical rather than critical. In this aspect his work is, as might be supposed, of the very highest value.
