On Tuesday in the House of Commons Mr. Churchill announced
that an Italian Debt Commission would soon visit this country. The United States has already reached a settlement with Italy, and it is satisfactory to know that a Similar settlement With us is confidently expected.' Italy is evidently determined not to have it said of her that she is unwilling to meet her obligations. The friends of Italy have never doubted, of course, that she would take this line. * * * *
