I don't

Sir: For goodness' sake why doesn't Benny Green stay indoors if seeing the redevelopment of London causes him so much pain? I wouldn't mind, but when he's not launching into nostalgic childhood memories of what a place used to look like, he's ridiculing the pre servationists, when everyone knows that the only way to get anything nowadays is to make unreasonable demands. That way you're generally guaranteed a bit of what you want. It is the reasonable demands, like those the conservationists make that are always ignored.

I see in your letters columns of April 8 the Voice of the BBC accusing Mr Szamuely (over something or other) not only of arrogance but of sneering! Now that is impossible. I happen to know that the BBC has exclusive ownership of both those properties, and if you don't believe me you don't listen to the radio.
