Aueusears PUGIN, the architect, died on Wednesday evening. Mr. Peelle
was latterly best known by his numerous publications illustra- tive of Gothic Architecture. He was a skilful draughtsman, and a member of the Society of Painters in Water Colours. He was a native of France, but had passed the greater part of his life in England. He was universally esteemed for his amiable manners and honourable conduct. His disease was water on the chest, brought on by the break- ing up of his system. He was sensible to the last, and died without any pain.
