Gaffe alert

From Mr James Frichtel Sir: Tiring of waiting for the Mark Steyn- watchers to take him to task for his recent gaffe in the article alluding to other gaffes in re Shakespearean ghosts and Hollywood butlers (Arts, 17 June), I would point out that it was not Dorothy Lamour but Betty Hutton who immortalised 'Arthur Murray Taught Me Dancin' in a Hurry' in the film featuring both ladies. Miss Hutton never tired of repeating it on every occasion. James Frichtel
