The Government are faced with most serious labour troubles. Apart

from the miners' dispute there are the shipyard and the London tramway and omnibus troubles. The prospect in the shipyards is that there will be a national lock-out next Monday. The Minister of Labour brought the two sides in the London transport dispute together on Wednesday evening when strike notices had already been issued to the men.
