SIR,—Apropos of 'The Miller's Tale' (Spectator, October 8), 1 think Henry Miller's description of the Greek character in The Colossus of Maroussi can equally Well be applied to himself as a writer. He 'is alive to his fingertips; he oozes vitality, he's effervescent, he's ubiquitous in spirit.'
