Italy says that she is ready to discuss various outstand
ing difficulties between herself and Yugoslavia, but w not touch the Treaty of Tirana on the ground that Alban. is an independent State and that an Italian Treaty wit her is no concern of Yugoslavia. On the contrary is very much Yugoslavia's concern. Its.place has been taken by a combinati of Radicals and Democrats. There is a rumour that th new Government would like to refer the Tirana Trea to the League of Nations, but it has made no sign of loin, so and is probably waiting for Sir Austen Chqrnberlai to make another move.
