Last night's Gazette contains a variety of announcements: among them,

that there is to be a Court mourning for the late King of Sweden, to commence on the 26th instant, to change on the 9th April, and to terminate on the 16th; that the Queen will hold a Drawing-room on Monday the 25th instant ; that the Queen has bestowed the honour of Knighthood on Mr William Bain, Master in the Royal Navy ; and that her Majesty has appointed the Reverend Edward Field to the Bishopric of Newfoundland.
