It is an acknowledged fact that it is quite the custom for a work- man who has been having an unsatisfactory interview with the foreman, who expects to be paid off, or who wishes a change, to register himself as " sick " in order to have an opportunity
of looking elsewhere for work, and the cutting shows pretty clearly to what extent this goes on. Is this the sort of thing we are to expect in Britain when the new Insurance Act comes
