SIR,—Strix's suggested expression 'arriving by air' at London Airport is not only 'languid' and 'almost protocolaire.' It is also tautological. Have you ever tried to arrive at London Air- port by any other agency? The airport is an automobile anthill, crawling with every con- ceivable kind of self-propelled contrivance. Yet, apart from long- and short-haul air routes, its connection with the outside world is re- stricted to that afforded by two LTE bus routes.—Yours faithfully,
