Stuart Hood found Mr Lee Kuan Yew's appearance in Twenty- Four Hours 'agile, charming, and tough.'
My own memory tells me that Mr Lee's contribu- tion towards solving the Rhodesian crisis was to advocate the starting of a war on Vietnamese lines, with the black Rhodesians in the role of the Vietcong. Such an attitude might reasonably be described as 'agile' and 'tough' Words have lost meaning for Mr Hood if he can call it 'charming.'
The effect on more than one viewer was, I suggest, that the sooner this country—and even the so-called Commonwealth—is disembarrassed of offering hospi- tality to Mr Lee the better
