On the 1st March, on board H.M.S. Virago, off the coast of Brazil, of yellow fever, Henry Vatchell Haggard, Commander R.N., eldest son of the late John Hag- gard, LL.D., of Doctors' Commons ; in his 36th year. On the 11th, at Luckuow, Captain William Frederick Thynne, 2d Battalion Rifle Brigade, third son of the Rev. Lord John Thynne ; in his 23d year. On the 11th April, at Sutton Court, Somersetahire, Sir Henry Strachey, Bart.; in his 86th year.
On the 12th, suddenly, at Downton, Kington, Herefordshire, Sir W. S. R. Cock- burn, Bart. N. S. ; in his 61st year. On the 13th, the Rev. W. Skynner, Rector of Bradley, Derbyshire, and of Cum- wold, Lincolnshire, and Vicar of Rushden, Hertfordshire ; in his 81st year.
On the 14th, at the Hill, Egham. Mrs. Jane Planner ; in her 94th year. On the 14th, at the Dargle, county of Wicklow, Henry Jos. Alonck Mason, Esq., LL.D., barrister-at-law ; in his 79th year. On the 15th, at Ramsgate, Mary, relict of the late Richard Tomson, Esq. ; in her 91st year. On the 15th, at Cliftonville, Brighton, Colonel George Tovey, late of H.31.'s 20th Regiment ; in his 71st year. On the 15th, Major-General Baby, formerly of 11.1t1.'s 24th Regiment. On the 16th, at Clifton, Panlet Henry St. John Mildmay, Esq., of Ilaslegrove House, Somersetshire ; in his 43d year.
On the 16th, in the Terrace, Kensington, John Baptist Cramer ; in his 88th year. On the 18th, soddenly, at Kennet, the Hon. Lord Handyside, one of the Senators of the College of Justice.
On the 20th, in Victoria Terrace, Bayswater, George Fowler, Esq., formerly of Cullompton, Devon, author of several works on Russia and the East.
