WIRELESS FOR PRISONS
IN response to our appeal of last week for subscriptions from readers of The Spectator to enable wireless sets to be pre- sented to the, convict and other prisons of Great Britain, a number of donations, ranging from £5 to 2S., have been received and are being individually acknowledged. Further gifts will be welcomed, and readers. who have registered a mental intention to send something, but owing to the frailty of human nature have not yet put it into effect, would be helping considerably if they would be good enough to do so now. Please make cheques payable to the Editor.
