dilie,—As you strongly uphold the practice of national economy, .perhaps you could give some advice in your next number of the .Spectator as to the best means of selling second-]land cars for war work. I myself have two cars, a single-cylinder Rorer and a four- .erlinder Alldnys, the latter being the one I wish to sell for war work or work of national importance. I should have sold the car for £125 War Loan if I could have found means of doing so before Friday neek, but so far as I know this privilege has been only .acailablefor owners of Rolls-Royce cars. I think many car-owners -would do as I am doing—offer their cars for considerably less for rational work. I think that the Government might well give facilities for the sale of cars for war work without delay.—I am,
