Modern factory operators are beginning to realize that no machine is really more powerful than the man who operates it. consequently, the human problem in industry has of late been receiving some of the attention due to it. This American book describes the organization of a service department in factories of all sizes, whose business is to deal with all the various aspects of the personal question. Chief among these is the health division, which is Dr. Clark's chief concern. The subject is treated in great detail and from a practical stand- point, which is the result of the author's own experience in this work. Dr. Clark is himself the Industrial Physician for the Norton Co., in Worcester, Massachusetts, and a lecturer In the Harvard Medical School.
