IMMORTAL Mummy. By Christine Orr. (Hodder and Stoughton. 7s. 6d.)
A nasty young Edinburgh free-lance discovers the Father (deceased) of Scottish Drama, writes him up for all he is worth, and finds he had made a bad mistake. Miss Orr's satire is at times overshadowed by fantasy or by sheer common sense, but her " Ccimedy of a Reputation " is excellent entertainment.
