It remained for the Prime Minister to wind up the
debate in a full House. Once again he created the great occasion, and with flashes of humour and invective he dominated the whole scene. Speaking with the experience of one who had held almost every portfolio, except Education, Health and Labour— significant omissions—the Prime Minister defended both the size and complexion of his Cabinet. He did not favour the separation of Ministers from Executive posts.
