SAVING POWER Sts,—It lies within the power of nearly everybody
m this country to save electric light for ten to fifteen minutes every day. If everybody switched off their lights when the nine o'clock news began and kept them off till it was finished, the saving would be considerable. I am told upon competent authority that it is possible to knit in the dark, so that there would be no hardship at all in listening to the news
