The Order in Council for augmenting the stipends of the

clergy of the island of Guernsey, arrived at the Government-house on Thursday. By the terms of the order, the salaries, which were from 601. to 701. a year, have been increased 501., with 101. in lieu of the tithe on fish, new abolished as hurtful to the fisheries.—Channel Islands Gazette.
