John Clark Fund
Sut,—John Clark, who died in May this year, was joint secretary to the British delegation to the Council of Europe and produced the notable report on the persecution of Russian Jewry, often in lonely circumstances championing Anglo-European under- standing and forgiveness.
The limited fund which it is hoped to raise in his name will be spent on sending young people to Europe to study the trade unions or parties there. Will your readers help to promote this cause and the idea of a less xenophobic view of Europe by ccntributing to The John Clark Memorial Fund. c/o Hon. Secretary. 29 Thurloe Street, London, SW7.
