RRADABLB Nov - sm.-77w Tyranny of Honour. By Constantine Scaramanga-Ralli. (ChapmanandHall, 6s.)—A

good story of Sedan and after, with a mystery which does not easily explain itself.

Some Experiences of a Political Agent. (Mills and Boon, 6s.)—A glimpse behind the scenes of " Organisation."—The Justice of the King. By Hamilton Drummond. (Stanley Paul and Co., 6s.)—A story of Louis XI. of France. Compare it with " Quentin Durward." The broader lines of Scott's portrait are more impressive, but this, too, is good.—Denis Trench. By Mrs. H. H. Penrose. (Alston Rivers, 6s.)—Very readable, but it wants more dramatic unity. One hero is enough : why distract us with the perils of "Kitten" ?
