Meals on wheels

The official inflation figures are no joke; the reality is even more disturbing. One handy indicator I have is the British Rail breakfast which, in the past couple of years, has advanced in price more than 50 per cent frosin 80p to £1.25. Now, worse, instead of the standard back bacon, I was served this week with the streaky, and cheaper, variety.
