The editors and proprietors of certain journals, who had rendered themselves odious to the people generally, by their. advocacy of Orangsi principles, were maltreated by several parti- sans of the existing Government; and at Antwerp the Governor refused them proteOtion, in consequence of their repeated attstrifts, to excite disobedience and rebellion amongst the King)r -jects.
