A leading French journal, the Mes- sager des Chambres, affirms, that there would be great hazard in an attack by the united forces of Russia and the Sultan upon the Egyptians, for that the Mahometans on both sides would join to expel the Russians from their territory. It is said that IBRAHIM is perfectly well aware that the hatred of the Turks to their old enemy is only smoothered for the present, and that it will burst forth on the first opportunity. He therefore is under no appre- tension of any forcible measures being taken to drive him out of the Sultan's dominions.
