The commission of Capt. A. Begot. of the 15th Bengal Native Infantry, promoted to the Brevet rank of Major in the Gazette of 25th May 18.55, is to bear date the 24th July 1854, instead of 11th Dec. 1854. The first Christian name of Major Holloway, 92d Madras Native Infantry, pro- moted in the Gazette 21st Nov. 1851, is Edward, and not Edmund, as therein stated.
