[To THE EDITOR OF THE "SPECTATOR."j SIR,—May I, in all humility, throw out a suggestion to " the powers that be " through your columns ? Would it not be possible to utilise the magnificent hall of Christ's Hospital by turning it into the long-wished-for national Shakespearian theatre P By so doing two ends would at once be achieved : that of preserving and making good use of a probably doomed
