We see by the illustrations in Stanley Baldwin : A

Biographical Character Sketch, by Adam Gowan Whyte (thapman and Hall, 5s.), that the present Prime Minister, in velveteens at the age of seven, was a very attractive little boy. There is nothing very new or startling in this book, but it is an honest piece of work, with little of the half-truth and humbug which is almost inseparable from stories of living politicians.
